Our lesson prices vary from £22 to £26 depending on the car and the instructors’ experience. The £26 lesson is usually conducted by a senior instructor who will probably be sorting out a pupil who has failed a number of times with another school. Senior instructors usually have a waiting list.
Some instructors offer a discount for lessons booked in advance. In your interest this is not wise as you may not like the car or instructor and it is often a struggle to get your money back. Once you have tried our instructor you may be able to negotiate a discount off of a higher rate.
The recommended retail price for a one hour lesson is £30. This would ensure that the instructor has no more than six pupils per day and can rest and plan your next lesson.
Unhappily with the number of new instructors flooding onto the scene the average lesson price has plummeted to about £20 / £23. Instructors have to pack in more hours to make ends meet (remember the one who goes to sleep?)
